Welcome to my life... It's a real Paige turner

Here's Why....
Hi everyone my name is Paige Larini. I thought that I would tell you a little bit about myself before diving into my course work for my Comm 1113 class.

Who am I and what am I doing with my life
I am currently a freshmen at High Point University and studying strategic communications with a minor in marketing. I currently live right outside the city of Philadelphia (GO BIRDS)! I have always grown up there and have loved every minute of it. I decided to come down to North Carolina to get a sense of a different atmosphere. I have enjoyed every minute of it, even when I say something to my friends and they do not know what I mean. For example when I say "can you pass me that jawn" I get those puzzled looks and I have to remember that not everyone understands some of my vocabulary.

Ohana
My family consists of my older brother, my mom, my dad, and my little black lab. My brother is currently a junior here at High Point which has made the transition to college a little more smooth. The worst part about living so far away from home is not getting to see my dog everyday. I have alway grown up with a dog by my side and not having one at school is really hard.

Enough about everyone else lets talk about me.... hahaha JK
If you ever want to get on my good side talk about dogs or the beach. I love the beach so much. My grandparents have a house on the Jersey Shore in which I spend most of my summer at. Another interest that I have is traveling. I love to go and experience new cultures. I hope to study abroad in college. I have many interest and I am sure that I will find more but so far these are my main ones.

"You have to be odd to be number 1"
What makes me unique you ask.. well first things first I love tacos. Another odd thing about me is that I graduated high school with 52 other students. I am a person with many weird qualities but in my opinion being normal is boring! I try and live by the quote "Be a fruit-loop in a bowl full of cheerios."
