The tools I used were the quick selection tool, adjustment layers ( Color balance, hue/saturation, vibrance, brightness/contrast) and the mask tools.

What I did
The first thing I did was I used the quick selection tool to select the people out of the photo. I did not want the background so I used the quick selection tool to select what I wanted and if it selected things I did not want I would click option/alt and click what I wanted to get rid of. After I made the selection, I made it into a smart object so I could make resize the image without losing any pixels. Then I duplicated the layer into my movie poster psd. Once I placed it into the spot I wanted I made it into a mask and painted with a black paintbrush with a hardness of zero. Doing this helped the photo blend into the pink background. I then added some adjustment layers to make the photo pop. After watching the "Limiting adjustment layers with masks" I masked the brightness/contrast layer so the image looked brighter in the center versus the ends. After I played with the adjustment layers and got them to the level I wanted, I was finished editing the photo. Since that is not the only image I am using I wanted to put all the layers I used for that photo into a group. I read the "Organizing layers into layer group" reading and it taught me how to organize them into a group.
Thanks for reading :)
