Composition

Intro   For my magazine spread I have decided to do " Who is Professor Danley" This week we did not have time to meet out of class so I only could capture some quick images of her. She is my China Reveled professor and she is an immigrant from China so I thought that her story would be interesting. To get started I read the "14 Composition Techniques that Will Instantly Improve Your Photos" and "10 Top Photography Composition Rules." They really help me understand what composition was and what techniques I could use to help me capture great images. Photo #1: Viewpoint  I decided to take a photo of the globe because Professor Danley is from a different part of the world. Photo Progression Tools The tools I used were the quick selection tool, adjustment layers ( Color balance, hue/saturation, vibrance, brightness/contrast) and the mask tools. I did not want the background so I used the quick selection tool to select what I wanted and if it selected things I did not want I would click option/alt and click what I wanted to get rid of.
