Make Memes Not War

Steps
1. The first thing I did was quick select the image of my friend so it was just her not the background. The original image is pictured below

2. I then made the image into a smart image so I would not lose the pixels when I resized the image to fit into the classroom photo. 
3.  Next I resized the image to fit into the classroom picture.
4. Next I increased the vibrance and brightness on the smart image of my friend.
5. After I finished touching up the smart image I felt like something was missing so blurred the background using the gaussian blur filter.
6. Finally I added text and played around with the color and the outline of the text. 

What I Learned

For this assignment we had to create our own meme. Personally I love memes and find them so funny, so when we were given the assignment I was excited and eager to learn how to do it. After watching all the How to Meme videos I learned how to make a layer picture and add text to the image. Another video that helped me create my meme was "Using the marquee and lasso tools". This video helped me understand what I was doing when I used the tool. The skills I practiced for this assignment will diffidently help me create my movie poster.
